Every day on his way to school, Kabir passed a small tea stall.
An old man worked there.

One rainy day…
Kabir noticed that the old man’s slippers were completely worn out.
He slipped…
and the tea he was carrying spilled onto the ground.
The shop owner angrily shouted,
“Be more careful!”
The old man stayed silent.

That night, Kabir couldn’t forget the sadness in his eyes.
Then he noticed his father’s old slippers lying at home.
The next day, he carried them to the tea stall.
“Uncle, we don’t use these anymore… maybe they can help you.”

The old man slowly put them on.
His eyes filled with tears.
He said,
“Son, these are more valuable to me than a brand-new pair.”
At that moment, Kabir learned something important—
Helping someone doesn’t always require money.
Sometimes, something lying unused in our home can make another person’s life a little easier.
