Have you ever helped an animal or a bird? Kindness is never wasted. Even a small act of kindness can return to us in unexpected ways. This is the story of Dhruv, a little boy who discovered the true power of kindness.

Dhruv’s Love for Birds

Every morning before school, Dhruv took a small bowl of grains to the terrace and scattered them for the sparrows and pigeons. He loved watching the birds gather and happily eat.

Kindness Despite Criticism

Some neighbors laughed at Dhruv and said, “They’re just birds!” Another joked, “What a waste of time!”

Dhruv felt a little sad, but he continued feeding the birds because he enjoyed making them happy.

A Sudden Storm

One evening, while returning from school, Dhruv was caught in a heavy storm. Strong winds blew, rain poured down, and the streets became difficult to recognize.

Dhruv Gets Lost

Dhruv accidentally took the wrong road and soon realized he was lost. Frightened and confused, he looked around for help. Suddenly, he heard a familiar sound: “Chirp! Chirp! Chirp!”

The Birds Come to His Rescue

A flock of sparrows flew around Dhruv. He recognized the birds he fed every morning. They flew ahead and turned back, as if asking him to follow.

Dhruv followed them through the rainy streets until they led him to a familiar road near his home.

Kindness Returns

When Dhruv reached home safely, his grandmother hugged him tightly. After hearing his story, she smiled and said, “Nature never forgets love.”

Dhruv looked at the birds outside and smiled. He realized that his kindness had never been wasted.
