GOD HELP THE WHO HELP THEMSELVES.

Would it be surprising if a person’s forearm was cut below the elbow and he worked as a photographer? Rusida Badawi, a 44-year-old Indonesian woman who lost her hands in a car accident when she was 12 years old, has been working as a professional photographer with a camera since 20 years. Born into an ordinary family, Badavi passed the 12th Senior High School examination and entered sewing and photography classes at the Vocational Rehabilitation Center for the Handicapped in Solo. Because of this successful course she has been able to realize her dream of becoming a photographer. She uses her skills in the local area.

Rusida admits that if she hadn’t lost her forearms she would have been a different kind of person. She doubts whether she would have developed such a passion for photography! Rusida’s husband Suradi says “I hope my wife’s activities will be exemplary and inspiring for others like her and for pessimists. We know that disability has many advantages and disadvantages and she can do everything just like strong people even though she doesn’t have a full hand.”

Doing make-up every Tuesday. Rusida shoots weddings and parties like any other professional photographer. Ignoring her own disability, she is determined to know her own destiny. She wants to build her own big studio in the near future. She works with photo film in today’s age, not with digital print. This matter is more challenging for the career of a person without hands. If you have seen her shooting a video, your hand will be raised to salute her.

Badavi’s story is inspiring and inspires to make dreams come true by overcoming obstacles in life. If we all live like that, the world is likely to be different and more creative. While this woman without wrists with her husband, a 13-year-old child as well as a 12-year-old nephew with weak arms and legs without the slightest ossification living proudly for twenty years photographing in a small village in Indonesia.

Someone said “IMPOSSIBLE” makes I ‘M POSSIBLE! If God had given people the vision to see the possibility in the impossible, then perhaps no work would have been incomplete anywhere!

A woman who has lived a proud life of photography for twenty years in a small village in Indonesia has shown what creativity is all about. Having handicapped hands is no problem for her. At the age of twelve, met with a car accident, she asked her parents to bring her a camera.

The first camera Pentax was given to her by her teacher when she started working as a professional photographer. she modified the camera according to her needs time by time. Before 2010, she used this camera. then started using digital cameras and finally started using advanced cameras. It is not a small success for a woman without a wrist to be invited by people to take photos of weddings, festivals and other rural activities and the occasional local authorities .

In her interview, she admits that she had to adjust the camera according to her physical limitations as she was not likely to be able to work the paw proportion. She could do camera work by keeping a camera between her severed hands. She adapted the shutter button with a screw so photos can be taken more easily. Her husband helping her to prepare the studio work. Her Husband was proud to see his wife inspiring others with disabilities like her to live a life while Rusida doesn’t like anyone talking about her disability.

Pleased with her work, she got a job in the state government’s ‘Welfare Empowerment’. Not only she is capable of operating her camera but she is also adept at carrying out her daily tasks like preparing her children to go to school, taking care of her disabled nephew and running the house. Seeing the ability of her work, She has got cameras from various sources. But even when there were no modern technology cameras, she used to do great photography and with the help of modern technology camera soon she became acquainted with it. she says, never lose hope.
